Wild at Heart Valentine’s Day screening

The Fringe Theatre

In honor of the late David Lynch, The Fringe Theatre presents a romantic screening of one of his more obscure films, Wild at Heart.
Starring Nicholas Cage and Laura Dern as crazed lovers Sailor & Lula. As Robert Ebert said of the film in 1990, "The movie is lurid melodrama, soap opera, exploitation, put-on and self-satire." (Ebert didn't like the film much, surprise!) If you are a fan of Nic Cage, David Lynch, or off-beat experiences, spend your Valentine's at The Fringe.
Bonus points for costumes! Don your inner Sailor, Lula, or Bobby Peru!
Non-alcoholic refreshments will be available for purchase and you may BYOB. We think Sailor and Lula absolutely would brown paper bag it, and so in honor of them, we will provide romantic paper bags for your beverages as you enter. Seating will be arranged in a non-traditional arrangement to suit the parties who book in.
The Fringe Theatre is fully ADA accessible. We like to note that Ybor parking can be tricky, and we recommend the Ybor Parking garage south of 7th (behind the 711) for those not wanting to drive around much. If you choose to find street parking, it is Zone #9924 on the ParkMobile app. Please note also, that much of Ybor is cobblestone.
This film is rated R.
